Aerial Drone Survey and Threat Assessment

Shield Associates are able to deploy specialist Aerial Drones that have the ability to conduct aerial surveys and compliment any security threat or vulnerability risk assessment of premises or sites. We are able to deploy in the UK, Europe and Worldwide.

Our trusted Associates hold civil aviation pilots licences and are registered with the Civil Aviation Authority for permissions to fly small unmanned aircraft (SUA) under the Aircraft navigation orders 2016 articles 94(5) and 95(1).

The company use the latest cutting – edge technology and the latest gyro – stabilised professional photography and video recording equipment on their aerial drones and UAV’s (unmanned aerial vehicles).

Our associates have extensive experience working in the broadcast sector having worked on various projects for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. They are able to take on the pre-production, production and post production of the project in order to deliver edited video content and still photography to a high professional standard.

All deployments are made with consideration to the Data Protection Act of 1998 and the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000.

Aerial Drone Equipment used

The drones used for deployment are from the DJI range, either the Phantom 3 Professional or the Inspire.

For image capture the Inspire Zenmuse X5 is used which has a 4/3- inch CMOS sensor shooting 4K video at 60mbps.

Footage can be filmed in 4K and can be shot straight to HD or delivery straight to 4K resolution with super smooth gyro – stabilised footage.
