Investigative Services, Corporate Surveillance and Training

Shield Associates utilises the skills of former senior Metropolitan Police Investigating officers and Military Special Forces that have participated in investigating serious complex crimes such as Counter terrorism, Homicide, Corruption, Serious public disorder, Counter narcotics and Kidnap.

Our experiences have seen our Associates conduct investigations across the UK and abroad in hostile and politically sensitive countries.

Our staff are trained to the National recognised standard Senior Investigating officer PIP level 3 (professional investigation programme), RIPA (Regulation of Investigatory powers Act 2000) and PACE compliant (Police and Criminal evidence Act 1984)

One of our Associates was commended for writing the investigation strategy into the London wide disorders of 2011, which was the worst seen on mainland UK.

We will undertake impartial investigations and intelligence gathering and ensure it meets the evidential threshold under PACE (Police and Criminal evidence Act 1984).

We also deliver bespoke training to public and private organisations on criminal investigation, surveillance and situational awareness, including anti and counter surveillance, investigative techniques, target hardening and IT scrutiny. We will ensure that the training will enable companies to complete the investigative process from gathering and assessing evidence through to case preparation. We also deliver forensic crime scene management with interactive scenario based lessons, Witness Statement taking and interview techniques using the national interviewing model of PEACE.
